  11. "In God We Trust" doesn't necessarily mean In God We Trust on the dollar, it really means "In Satan We Trust". Look on the front, you need to look hard to see it…there is an owl between the shield-number-one- symbol and the leaf.

  12. The writing on money has nothing to do with its value. No one hands out money in order to raise awareness of God's love or something - people spend money because in our society, that's what you do in exchange for goods and services. If your country happens to print money that mentions a higher power, well, too bad for you - you don't exactly have a choice; there arne't atheist bills.

Besides, being an atheist just means you don't believe in god/a higher power. If you don't believe in god, he can't very well be your enemy, can he? It would be like being enemies with unicorns.

  13. I think you are using the "flyer" analogy out of context. It isn't the same. The exchange of currency is not the same thing as endorsement. I'd think you would be saying this about Christmas. Adults don't believe in Santa, yet we get wrappings and trimming with his image on them, and hand them out to kids, who we have already lied to about his existence. That is endorsement in a known impossibility.

  16. Or they could write checks or use credit cards. Or pay with coins.

    Comment by Heather — July 22, 2008 #

  17. Hmmm, so you have never sent out any Christmas cards with a Santa on it, or have any decorations of a Santa or flying reindeer? Interesting…

Anyway, they are but you have the "wrong" enemy in mind. Money is the root of all evil, Satan's handiwork if you will, created to make us mere mortals do unspeakable things in the name of it and for it. "In God We Trust" is merely one of Satans tricks. So really except for Satan worshippers we all should take a stand and refuse to spend money in protest…..now there's a twist! ;) lol
