SEO: What Is Wrong With Forums.Digitalpoint?

What the heck is wrong with http://www.forums.digitalpoint.com?
I had an account with them for over two years. My itrader rating was excellent and I had over 300 posts. Suddenly, over the last 48 hours, I could not login. It says my account does not exist. Say what? I had to create a new user name. I’ve contacted technical support 3 times. Even tried calling their phone number, which is out-dated.

I am like so pissed off! I’ve lost tons of potential clients. I go after those who are willing to spend. However, I can’t contact them since my account no longer exists and my new account is not active and you are not supposed to have 2 accounts. This is so frustrating!

Does anyone know of a search engine book that would teach me the basics about SEO and PPC?

I want to try to market my website by myself and I need to find a search engine book to help me. I know if I had some basic direction, I would be able to do this. If someone could suggest a search engine book for me, that would be great.

I’m part of my schools Junior Achievement team, I’m the marketing executive and I’m really interested in becoming involved in this company.
