Do yahoo automatic websites not do a good job with seo?

We started a yahoo site services account and have a full account. The thing is we are in a small town and when I search for major keywords we don’t even show up until around the 3rd page. The thing is a lot of the other sites above us have nothing to do with what the person is searching for. I would think that we would get good placement in yahoo since its a yahoo site. I get better placement in google. We started the site about a 5 weeks ago.
Its a very specific doctors office that there are only 3 or 4 other doctors in town that do the same thing. I'm not sure if any of the other doctors have websites. Maybe 1.

hi, i want to buy the 7th album by korean rock artist seo taiji, but everywhere i find it is out of stock, i already tried yesasia.com, ebay, amazon and etpshop. can some one help me find an online store or seller to buy it. The album is called Seotaiji 7th Issue but its sometimes called Live Wire. Its the one with the songs: Live Wire, FM Business, Heffy End and Robot, among others. I don’t care if its used or new.

Why is google search engine sometime taking me to the wrong site?

When I am searching for something on Google it will give me a list of results, then when I click on it, it is a different page which is usually something like what is on those pop up ads you get on occasion, and I have to hit the back button, and when I click on it the next time it brings me to the regular website.

If looking for a radiator for my 99 Galant would I search by the car or the engine?

Should I be searching for “Radiator for 99 Galant ES V6″ or like radiator for the engine type?

How much does SEO cost for a small to medium sized business?

I have a business idea to set up an online marketing/SEO company in Melbourne. I wanted to get some feedback more along the technical side of things.

The idea is for me to do the business development and then outsource or contract the actual SEO to someone else. I’m trying to work out if the idea would work.

I know it differs between industries, but lets say I had $200-$300 AUD per month for a freelancer or contractor to look after the SEO for clients, what kind of measurable results could they expect to see?
