Does delta sigma theta advertise their informational meeting with flyers like other divine nine?
December 28, 2008 on 4:51 am | By advertising | In advertising |I notice other Divine Nine postin maybe one or two flyers around my campus (rather discreetly of course) advertising their informational session for initiation. However, I never see he deltas. Do they just not advertise that way (being more word of mouth), or am I just not looking hard enough. How can I be privy to that information without sucking up to a current delta pretending to befriend her as most people i know do.

Well they normally do post their flyers the same way other NPHC orgs do. The thing is that sometimes the flyer will be posted for as shortly as 48 hrs and then they will take it down. So keep your eyes open. Make sure that you are on your their chapter's email list so that they can contact you with upcoming events. I don't think sucking up will make them give you that information. Usually they'll have an event before a interest meeting so make sure you attend them. Good luck!

To answer your question, Yes my sorors will advertise that they are hosting a rush/informational. One way you can find out if and when they are hosting one is contacting your greek affairs/student activities office. They will be able to inform you of all of my soror's events. You can also ask who the current president of that chapter is, and send her a friendly email inquiring about upcoming events.
Good luck to you!
