Product advertising on the BBC?

My housemates were just assuring me that they always see commercial PRODUCT advertising on the BBC in between shows, for products like coca cola and various shampoos. I have no idea where they got this idea from as I am pretty much 100% sure the BBC has never done any product advertising (apart from it seems DAB radios and free view boxes). Can anyone verify this for me? I'm struggling to find anything that states it concretely.

Whenever I search (google or yahoo) I only get other search engine sites instead of the real site I want?

What is causing this and how do i fix it? I already ran spybot and fixed everything it found? Any suggestions?

Let's say I go to either google or yahoo and type something i want to find, like the name of a story I want to read online, for example, "el principito" and I click search, then all of these results show up and little description of the websites looks good but not the title of the website. for example, it would look like this:

Notice how the url at the end of the description doesn't match the title of the description which is supposed to be wikipedia, here is another example:
