What are some trends that are appearing on IT market.
Some examples are like

People are now more likely to get laptop then desktop, and those who get desktop might prefer the slimline or all-in-one models.

Solid state drives are now being a reasonable alternative then the hard drives

Microsoft is losing it monopoly power, and Mac and Linux OS become more popular (Who here much of apple before vista anyway)

Free open software movement seems stronger the ever before.

Touch screen monitor are becoming more popular.

More people are using alternative software then when is bundled with windows or mac.

  1. I feel like touch screens are making great advances now. The iPhone and iTouch have been extremely popular. Dell has just releaseed the 2.5k Latitude XT2 tablet, and HP has just released the newer touchsmart, where the PC is the screen.

    I feel Linux is making great strides. Simple as that. Regarding that, I basically run my comp on tons of freeware: OpenOffice, AVG, ZoneAlarm, iObit, EASEUS, KMPlayer, FDM, and more.
