While I was reading an SEO tactics book, I came to found that there are SEO tools that can help a web owner or developer to optimize his website or blog. I found a firefox add-on 'Rank Checker'. Is there any other tool that you think is even much better than this. Paid or Free. THANK YOU!

URL SEO - want URL to contain keywords?

I own a website that does running race reviews. Currently the urls show up in the following format.

http://www.zoomzer.com/races/view/50

Where '50' references the Santa Cruz Mermaid Triathlon in the database. How do I make the URL read more along the lines of :

http://www.zoomzer.com/races/view/santa_cruz_mermaid_triathlon

Wouldn't this help my SEO?
