How do we advertise for out tutoring business?

July 31, 2009 on 7:34 am | By advertising | In advertising |

My siblings and I are thinking about starting a tutoring business. We are still working on the fine details and the technical aspects, but besides that, what are some good ways to get the word out about it? We tried to get our mom to talk to some people, but they just sounded uninterested. One of our other ideas is to make mini fliers and pass them out to people or hang them on people’s mailboxes.

  2. Sounds like you’re on the right track….
Posting filers on mail boxes and on schools bulletin boards, Place an ad in the paper, or even stack some at a local diner. At the end of the day, you want you potential customers to access this information…

    All the best….

  3. You could put an ad in the local newspaper. Check for online classified web-sites that allow you to post for free. Craigslist, advertise it on your car window. Put a sign in your front yard?

    Word of mouth is great.
Check local stores to see if they have a board that allows people to post .

    Offering tutoring ect.

    Hope this helps.
