I already have a website but am finding hard to get business from internet users. One of my friend suggested get SEO done for your website and want to know more on what is SEO and why is it important?

I messed up my search engine stuff?

Okay. I installed My Web Browser a while ago and today I was trying to uninstall it and then change my search engine. I uninstalled it successfully without issues. So then I went to "about:config" in my firefox and went into that menu and I changed Keyword:URL to the google thing, then I saw this thing in there called "browser.search.selectedEngine" with status "user set" and type "String" and the value was "My Web Search" so I typed in "Google" instead since it was all words, not a URL sequence. Well now suppose I type in "Cheese" in my browser without any website address stuff, I’ll get "http://www.google.com/ig?ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sourceid=navclient&gfns=1&hl=encheese"

What do I do?!

I changed it back to "My Web Search" but I’m still having the same problem

None Of The Search Engines On My Computer Works.?

Here’s the problem. When I type something in yahoo or google, it loads for a bit then it seems to remain in a white screen. Internet is connected you can surf the web from the adress bar but none of the Search Engines will search anything. What could be the solution to this problem?

I’d really appreciate the help.
Not sure how to work the DNS.
But here’s an update.
This search engine window pops up when the computer begins showing the desktop. Its called Popeo.

What A Levels would you need for a possible career in advertising?

Okay I am a mature student..well..not really I’m 20 so kind of.
I have failed previously at studying..and I don’t feel I can resign myself to a trade, as I am..well not exactly that kind of person I am a bit rubbish at that kind of thing.
What I’d like to know is what a good balanced choice of A Levels for a possible career in Advertising?
I have so far chosen, well thought about English and Art.
Any suggestions? I’d like to stick with the solid subjects though, keeping a nice open mind for possible changes in my career choice by the time I get to Uni
I’d like 4 choices all together.
