Is anyone who works in the advertising industry willing to talk to me (not in person) about what it is like?

I am majoring in advertising and would like to hear some real experience from people in the field.
I have talent in pretty much any creative outlet except the actual artwork itself, although I have majored in art , my talents lie more in conceptualizing ideas. So any advice or experience particularly pertaining to that would be great, but any advice at all would be fantastic!
