  1. SEO should start even before you start developing your website because you should do keyword research if you want your website to get targeted traffic from the search engine.

  2. Search Engine Optimization is an ongoing process where you present your core message or value proposition consistently across multiple online marketing platforms. These platforms typically consist of a website, blog, microblogs, social media, etc.

    I would recommend researching the market, identify a niche market, research keywords, and develop a web presence around those keywords. This process takes time but it’s cheaper than paying for Google Adwords.
