Deleting things searched in google search engine?

I want to delete things that i have typed into the google search engine. I have tried to delete it by going onto tool:interent options: delete forms and cookies but it still appers. I have also clicked on the drop down box of the search engine but it doesnt say dele search history there anymore.

  2. go to the drop down box of the search engine and hold the cursor over the term you wish to delete and then press the "delete" button on your keyboard
