Market day ideas for a 5th grader. Needs to be homemade? What are good and unique products to sell?

Hi,
What are some 5th grade ideas for Market Day? The kids have to sell an object that they make at home. It cannot be food such as cookies or popcorn but they can make dog or cat treats. The idea can’t be something like selling pencils or coupons or girl scout cookies it HAS to be homemade. It doesn’t nessicarily have to be easy but something that would sell well would be great!

  1. Look up how to make flowers out of a material online.
See if you can make them out of duct tape or tissue paper.
Google "tissue paper roses" or duct tape roses
This would be good for easter too.

  2. Your best bet is to do a search for arts and crafts online. That will open the door to many options that will be cost effective for your child to make and the price to which you mostlikely will be able to manage. There are many sites that offer great free craft ideas. I was a cub scout master for many years and found many sites to choose crafts, activities, and even projects to keep them within a tight budget but also bringing lots of fun creativity to the table of the children. These are two quick links that looked interresting I found.
