Career Help!! Advertising or Graphic Design?

I’m 18 years old, I live in Toronto and I am almost done my first year of studying Advertising/Design at OCAD. But it has recently occurred to me that maybe Graphic Design would be a better choice as it would be easier to find a job once I graduate. Maybe I’m wrong though. Which is more in demand in the market? Which one is the better choice?

  1. i am in a similar situation and i have just registered for a program in CAD (computer aided design).
    they also have web design but job opportunities in graphic/web design are not the best right now. the CAD program is very interesting because involves new subjects like eco-design, which increases the chance of finding a job! http://www.leonardocollege.ca
