How can I find my website's search engine ranking?
June 23, 2008 on 6:50 am | By advertising | In search engine | 1 CommentI want to know where exactly a specific website is ranked for any given search. This is for curiorsity's sake- so I am not concerned if it lands on teh first page or about SEO.
For example. Let's say we have the site www.dogsrule2008.com, a site talking about poodles.
If someone goes to yahoo and searches dog, yahoo might find 40,000,000 pages. I want to know where "dogsrule2008" is in those results. It would be interesting to know if the dogsrule2008 site is 39,987,500 out of 40,000,000.
And then you search the topic of poodles and find that this same site is 12,000 out of 600,000.
Is there a way to find the ranking of a site in any search without having to look at everypage or getting so specific that the page is listed in the top ten on the first page.
What is the HTML code for page anchors and search engines?

Anyone know a better Search Engine?
Or does anyone know how I can get better results? like how you can put + or - or and, etc…
I don't know im just tired of all these websites with a whole list of WORDS or PHRASES so you will find them no matter what you type.
