Does ranking high in search engines raise page rank? For example, a site that is created for a long tail keyword like… " I need to fix t.v."

If a site ranked number 1st on google for that keyword phrase with a low page rank of 0, would that raise the site's page rank by being high on search engines?

How can talk radio demonize those who ask for bailout funds, but continue to advertise for auto companies?

These same people also talk about how wonderful wall street is. How can they do this in good conscience and not feel hypocritical?
It just makes no sense how people who claim to be so rooted in their beliefs can turn and contradict those beliefs. I understand that it's all about money. But what happened to those values and principles that they claim to stand on?
Alex-You obviously don't pay attention to what is said. These hosts say the market is bad but the companies on wall street are good. They say it's Obama's speaking about the economy that drives it down. That's their wall street rhetoric in a nutshell. Maybe you should listen more instead of just trying to hear your favorite talking points.

Is a bachelors in Advertising from an art school recommended?

Im thinking of transferring to the Art institute of Philadelphia for my bachelor's in Advertising. Currently I am in Strayer for my marketing degree. I wish to deal more so with the illustration and copy writing of advertising. My overall goal is to become experienced in advertising/PR in order to start my own small firm. I wish to recruit talent and connect them to their opportunities. I also want to start a small magazine company and build a website in this area. Am I on the right track?

how do u get rid of search engines that u dont want?

Everytime I put in something I want to search for in yahoo or google, it gets redirected to some other site that does searches over and over. They are not even related to what i am searching.
its so annoying cause if I dont have the proper web address it gives me these crummy sites that are unrelated.
I did a virus scan and nothing bad came up, and I cant get into internet options since i am not administrator.

Post Title vs Page Title: Which is more important for SEO?

I am using Wordpress for my site. I want to name the page title (<title>Page Title</title>) different from the Post Title. If I name the page title something really optimized but the post title something short and sweet would this make my site less SEO optimized then naming the post title the same as the page title?
